WHERE DEEP SHADOWS FALL

Job 12:22

“He reveals the deep things of darkness and brings deep shadows into the light.” (NIV)

Lord, I need You to shine Your Light

Shine it within their hearts today.

Lord, wherever deep shadows fall

Bring them into the Light I pray.

Expose the things of darkness

That still cling within their minds.

Help them know You will not stop

Not until all these things You find.

Bring healing to their minds and souls,

Their hearts seek You in need.

You know the pain the victims feel

When evil rides his nasty steed.

Give them hope found only in You

A hope that You want to share.

Light their way on darkened paths

When they feel that no one cares.

Let them feel life’s joy within

A joy they once did know.

Increase their joy within Your Light

Abundantly let it flow!

Fill the gaps that need Your strength

To stand the test of time.

Let them grasp Your loving hand

Let them know that “thou art mine”. 

Freedom comes through Christ alone

Bind up their broken hearts.

Satan flees from Your glory bright

So help them trust You’ll ne’er depart.
