HEAL ME, LORD

Psalm 30:2

“O LORD my God, I called to you for help and you healed me.”

I come before You now,

Exposing my innermost thoughts.

I give You my memories, my mind,

And all the emotions I’ve fought.

The anger, Lord, is too much at times

And I’m not sure what to do.

Help me see a purpose now

And to hold steadfast to You.

Cleanse my heart, my soul,

And the feelings from deep within.

Give me ones which You intend for me,

Not ones resulting from Evil’s sin.

Give me hope at the start of the day

When everything is fresh and new.

Carry me until darkness falls,

And after my prayers are through.

Give me peace throughout the night

When dreams can quickly come,

And let me close my eyes feeling loved,

Not shedding tears over what was done.

Give me courage to move beyond

And restore my broken core.

Place my feet on solid ground,

And stand beside me forever more!

Take my hand when I am weak

And cushion my every fall.

Help me keep my eyes on You,

No matter what, throughout it all.

Heal me, Lord, for I give to You

All that I am, and ever will be.

Use, guide and teach me, Lord,

Until one day in Heaven I’ll be.

Reveal Your plans for me each day

And help my eyes to clearly see.

Give me strength for my journey’s path..

For whatever comes, You’re there with me.
