I Don’t Want To Be There!

Rev. 4:1

“After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.” (NIV)

Tribulation, beasts, the anti-christ

Wars, famine, disease…

This will happen after Christ’s return,

And I want no part of these!

Trumpet blast and scroll unfurled

My Savior in the cloud…

He’ll call to me, ”Come home child!”,

From astride a horse so proud!

Persecution, new Christians die

Fires that rage amuck…

I am assured I won’t be there,

For I don’t rely on luck!

Some will go, some will not

When Jesus enters here…

The Church will meet Him in the air,

Of that we have no fear!

Seven lamp stands, angels and seals

A dragon that is Satan himself…

There will be those left behind

Who get their Bible off the shelf!

Why wait til then, for now’s the time

To know the Savior’s love…

I don’t want to be there friend,

So I’ll be in Heaven above!

You also have a choice you know

Our Jesus died for you….

Those who call on Him will be saved,

So today, what will you do?
