INTO THE LIGHT

Lord, I ask You to transform my mind

With Your healing love and grace.

Give me the courage, Lord, to grow,

And shed your Light in my darkest place.

Brighten all the hidden alleyways

In which Satan still has control.

Dispel the darkness of secrecy and shame

So it’s Your Words of Life I will know.

Boldly and with confidence strong

Let me continue to seek Your face.

Help me bring my thoughts to You

So I may heal through Your tender grace.

For, Lord, I cannot do this on my own

And I know I have to rely on You.

Satan tries his very best each day

To tear down all the wonders that You do.

Give me Truth, Lord, and glorious Light

As I fall at Your feet in despair.

You want me to be free from the pain…

I just need to grasp what’s already there.

You’ve already prepared the way for me,

My path is already cleared ahead.

Lord, be my Guiding Light each day

As I seek answers to the prayers I’ve said.

I bring to You my most painful thoughts

And lay them all at Your feet.

Fill me, cleanse me, transform me now

With your peace, so precious and sweet. 

No more will I hide in silence, Lord,

Over the evil events that were done.

“Fear not” is what You say to me

And in You the victory is won!

There’s darkness in silence and shame

But there’s Light in Truth so clear.

There’s freedom where Truth will reign

And to be free indeed is oh, so dear….
